“We may look as if we carry on with our lives as before. We may even have times of joy and happiness. Everything may seem normal. But this, EMPTINESS is how we all feel, all the time”
~ John Maddox, for Bereaved Parents Month
(The artwork is called Melancholy by Albert György in Geneva, Switzerland)
I somehow did not know that July is bereaved parents month. A big thank you to Susan for letting me know and sending me this picture.
Sending extra hope and hugs to all bereaved parents this month and every month.

Dear Lanie and Family – I send my loving wishes to you and wish you many more moments of joy and happiness over moments of emptiness which will surely be yours as well. The sculpture is very moving. Thanks for posting it. Cornelia

Hello – I came across your page today. It is so befitting for me to see this at this time. The sculpture reminds me of myself. Today, July 11, 2108, my son would be 46. He passed 623 days ago. My heart is very heavy and I feel as if I have the weight of the world upon my shoulders.
